Pupils and teach­ers gathered in the Library in aid of Amnesty Inter­na­tional to sign cards for two indi­vidu­als and two groups who suffer human rights abuse. A total of 174 cards were signed as well as numer­ous letters writ­ten by Year 9 pupils. Paul Gadd, chair person for the Saffron Walden Amnesty Group came to the school to help run the event.
