Cross Country Success
The Junior School entered 22 runners from Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 in the Uttlesford Cross Country Competition in November at Newport Free Grammar School. The team came away with an excellent set of results and have all qualified in their respective age groups to represent Uttlesford at the next event in Southend in March.
On Thursday 1st December the U-12 boys’ and girls’ cross country team travelled to Gosfield to take part in the ‘Cut Hedge Trophy’. The U-12 girls won the team event. The U-12 boys came second and overall the U-12 Friends’ team won the cup with an individual win for Alice Abrahams and a third place for Indigo Collecott.

“We have a strong running club which is more popular that ever. It is wonderful to see our runners, who put in both the time and training, continuing to do so well at these big events.”
