Cross Country Success


The Junior School entered 22 runners from Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 in the Uttles­ford Cross Coun­try Compet­i­tion in Novem­ber at Newport Free Gram­mar School.  The team came away with an excel­lent set of results and have all qual­i­fied in their respect­ive age groups to repres­ent Uttles­ford at the next event in Southend in March.

On Thursday 1st Decem­ber the U-12 boys’ and girls’ cross coun­try team trav­elled to Gosfield to take part in the ‘Cut Hedge Trophy’. The U-12 girls won the team event. The U-12 boys came second and over­all the U-12 Friends’ team won the cup with an indi­vidual win for Alice Abra­hams and a third place for Indigo Collecott.
