Non-Uniform Day 21 November 2003

Over £450 was raised on our non-uniform day to support the Alex Ruffell Memorial Fund ( which supports a school in Zimbabwe) and 'Children in Need'. In addition to 'non-uniform', the school had an 'austerity lunch' consisting of soup ( the cost of the usual meal being added to the charity funds), and the sixth form sold pizzas and doughnuts to raise further money. Year 7 organised a sale of cakes and the sixth form painted nails for a fee. Otherwise lessons were as normal!
