About Saffron Walden
Saffron Walden is an attractive medieval market town set in rolling farmland, situated on the border of Essex and Suffolk. The town is perhaps best known for its connections with the wool trade and the Saffron crocus. It lies in the beautiful East Anglian countryside, 20 minutes from Cambridge and one hour from London and its main airports, by road or rail.
