Junior School FAQs

How long is the school day?
Super­vi­sion begins at 8am and all pupils need to be in School by 8.30am. Lessons finish at 3.30pm

Do you have any after school clubs, activ­it­ies and after school care?
Chil­dren can remain in school until 5.45pm. Chil­dren can choose to join a club from our extens­ive activ­it­ies programme, or attend home­work club which all run from 3.45pm to 4.45pm. Our after school club, Late Stay, is avail­able for all year groups and this finishes at 5.45pm.

What are your National Curriculum results like?
Our results at Key Stage 2 are excel­lent. In fact, most recently, all our pupils achieved Level 4 and above at Key Stage 2 and around 50% achieved Level 5 in English, Maths and Science.

What should I do if I have any concerns about my child’s progress?
Class teach­ers are gener­ally avail­able at the begin­ning and end of each school day and there are regu­lar formal oppor­tun­it­ies to discuss your child’s progress at parents meet­ings. You can also talk to the Head or Deputy Head.
