Pupils’ Work in the Junior School

Gnomology

Some of you may have noticed the wonderful display outside my office. We always try to choose an imaginative topic which allows teachers and children to show us what they can do and to illustrate progress across the school. This display is no exception. Gnomes were ordered in size, routes through a maze were plotted for Norman (the gnome), gnomes’ homes were built, gnomes’ wardrobes sorted and carbon footprints calculated. The closer you look at the display the more that is revealed and the more impressive it becomes. Well done to everyone involved. We studied gnomeracy, gnomber bonds, gnomber sequences and whole gnombers. Andrew Holmes
