Form 3 Vikings Day – Monday 23rd January 2012
Year 3 spent an exciting day being Vikings and learning about the Viking way of life. The day touched upon Viking gods, the Viking language that has been absorbed into our language today, Viking trade and travel, and everyday Viking life. Our afternoon was spent in a more bloodthirsty way,learning about Viking weaponry and warfare, and ended in our very own (mock!) Viking battle. It was a great day where we learnt a lot and laughed alot.
