Friends' Junior School - Year 6 Residential Field Trip to North Wales 10 to 14 September 2007

Year 6 are had an very enjoyable week in Wales. They had good weather and spent two days studying and walking in the Snowdonia National Park. They observed the classic glacial features at Cwm Idwal and visited Blaen-t-nant Farm to look at organic farming methods. The children spent another day following the course of the River Conwy to measure
the changes it made as it flowed to the sea. At the end of an exciting week the children tackled Snowdon.
“At the beginning of September 2007,Year 6 went to Snowdonia. We had a great time, laughter and all. The highlights were climbing jagged Snowdon and everyone falling into the River Conwy. Have you ever seen Year 6 going feet in,elbows in, thumbs up, knees bent, bottoms out, heads up singing? Drenched, we all collected sheep wool and went on to sing merrily around the campfire”.
