Higher Tier 11/2 hours - short answer questions with one extension question requiring an essay style response.
All questions are compulsory.
Coursework 1: AQA Set Assignment – Students are required to solve a number of problems based around a given situation. The problems usually involve word-processing, spreadsheets, data manipulation and web site designs.
Coursework 2: Project – Students are required to submit a report on the solution to a problem that demonstrates their ICT capabilities. Wherever possible, candidates should select a problem from their own area of interest.

Pupils should be aware that both coursework assignments require a considerable amount of documentation, which will be mainly word-processed.
