The Old Scholars' Association was formed in 1869. Its aims are to promote fellowship amongst those who have left the school and to help to promote and support the school.

The Old Scholars' main meeting each year is the Spring Reunion which occurs on a Saturday in May and which has recently coincided with the school's 'speech day'. There is also an AGM in the Autumn.

The main form of communication has traditionally been through the annual magazine, which is distributed to all Old Scholars in May. The list of addresses and telephone numbers of members and non-members has now become a separate publication.

In more recent times much use has been made of the Old Scholars website with its class lists and message board. Details of membership can also be found here.

The other website which has helped Old Scholars to renew contacts with long lost friends is Friends Reunited.
