Dinnertime Challenge
One o'clock the door is open
Its challenge time I say
Down the hall to the first hurdle
Bend down, pick up a tray
Grab a knife and fork and speed along
Lasagne, chips and veg
Tart and custard, a piece of cake
Now challenge two ahead
Avoid the Salad Lady, grab some ham
A sausage or maybe two
Four bits of fruit , a pile of bread
Now we're almost through
The finish line is right there
You turn to walk away
Casual like you've almost won
And then you hear her say
"Put that back! You can't have that!"
You walk away in sorrow
But never mind we'll try again
Challenge two tomorrow!
