Have a free taste of flexi-boarding!
Day pupils in Years 7 to 11 are invited to stay-over for a night
at no charge during Boarding Week
So that pupils in Years 7 to 11 can have the opportunity to experience
boarding life, we are holding a special Boarding Week starting on
Monday 13 March 2006.
We would like to invite day pupils in the Senior School to experience
one free night 'flexi-boarding'. Students can stay for dinner, bed
and breakfast and there will be a full programme of evening activities
throughout the week.
As the activities will be tailored to pupils' ages, the week will
be structured with each evening allocated to a specific Year Group.
Years 7 to 9 are invited to join Girls or Boys House and Years 10
and 11 to experience boarding in the Sixth Form

Available nights:
Year 7 - Monday 13th March
Year 8 - Tuesday 14th March
Year 9 - Wednesday 15th March
Years 10 and 11 - Thursday 16th March
How to take part in Boarding Week:
1. Check the appropriate night for each year group.
2. Complete and sign the consent form available by clicking
here.
3. Hand in the completed form to Anne Fear in Reception.
Important Notes:
As there are a fixed number of beds available each night, they
will be allocated in the order that the forms are received.
Boarders are usually allowed to go into town after school. They
must be accompanied by at least one other student, be back no later
than 5.30pm and have parental permission. Please indicate this on
the application form.
Medical treatment for boarders is normally entrusted to the Doctor
chosen by the school under the NHS. Parents need to give the School
Doctor and nurses the authority to carry out any necessary treatment
and to administer medication if necessary overnight. This is indicated
on the application form.
