Pastoral Care

School is preparation for life. We make sure we support children with a pastoral system that helps them to appreciate themselves as individuals, understand their relationships with others, and participate in society as informed, competent, caring people.

To encourage self development, pupils are challenged and supported academically, creatively and physically to make the most of opportunities on offer. There is a reward system for excellence, effort and responsibility.

We’re pleased that the relationship between pupils is a particular strength with older pupils supporting younger ones. As they reach the top of the school they may take on more formal responsibilities such as house captains or membership of the quartet which forms a link between pupils and the Head.
