Boys’ and Girls’ Houses

Each house has a common room within which there is a tele­vi­sion, DVD player and video recorder. Board games and jigsaws are also available.

There is a kitchen area where toast and hot drinks can be made during the even­ing. In Girls’ House there is a facil­ity to wash and iron clothes which are not sent to the laundry.

Occa­sion­ally boys and girls watch TV in each other’s Houses. There are also mixed common room facil­it­ies else­where within the School where boarders watch TV, play pool/snooker or table tennis, or simply sit and chat. The computer room, music school, art rooms, library and sports hall are also avail­able for use after school at certain times.

After prep an activ­ity is offered to the boarders, often in the sports hall there is also an art or drama work­shop twice a week.
