Our Sixth Form is small by design, which allows us to give our students high levels of personal attention, but it is large enough for us to offer a wide range of courses. If you are looking for a place in the Sixth Form you are welcome to visit the school on one of four open mornings which are held throughout the academic year. You may choose an individual visit to the school to meet the Head, Graham Wigley, and Eleanor Mackenzie Lambert, Head of Sixth Form, to find out more about what it is like to be a sixth former at Friends’ School.
Prospective students are also invited to our ‘Introduction to the Sixth Form’ evening which is held in November when there is an opportunity to speak with sixth form teachers and current students.
Following your visit, the next step is to register your child. The registration form can be downloaded from the website. Please see the Admissions section of the website. You may also register your child without visiting the school.
Selection for Sixth Form is based on performance at GCSE, together with confidential assessments from the present school. Candidates will need a minimum of five GCSE grades at C or above.
If you wish to proceed further or require more details please contact Alison Stanbury, our Admissions Secretary, on 01799 525351 or admissions@friends.org.uk
